The Perfect Pizza Sauce is easy!
- Combine a can of tomatoes, some olive oil and a pinch salt. If you like, add some garlic or tomato paste to the mixture as well.
- Use a food processor or use a hand blender to make a chunky yet combined sauce. Be careful not to make the sauce too liquidy, otherwise it may weigh down the dough and leave it soggy. A thicker sauce works best.
Of course, if you’re busy or simply can’t wait to get your pizzas on the table, then a jar of marinara sauce from your local grocery will work just as well. Or, if you’re looking for an authentic sauce, ask your local pizzeria for a pint to take home and use as needed.
